Cut-Out
I created floral and leaf motifs from cut out tissue and construction paper to try and mimic the spontaneous and natural feeling of leaves arranged on a branch or fallen leaves on the ground. The use of tissue paper allowed me to create a sense of light, depth and transparency through layering. Warm, earthy red tones are contrasted with bright green for a playful pop of color. This collection could be used in a variety of home styles, from modern to eclectic as upholstery on outdoor furniture, bedding, table linens and more.
